Description
Central heating system with hot water
In central heating systems with hot water, the heat generated by the burner is transferred to the water inside the boiler. The heated water flows through a heat pump and piping system in the heat dissipating devices (such as radiators, fan coils, heater units, etc.) and due to the passage of hot water through these devices, the heat of the water to the room air with different mechanisms (Radiation, natural or forced displacement) is transmitted. And the hot water temperature drops and returns to the boiler to absorb the heat again.
Central heating systems with hot water and their components
In central heating systems with hot water, the heat generated by the burner is transferred to the water inside the boiler. Heated water by a flow pump and piping system in heat dissipating devices. (Such as radiators, fan coils, heaters, etc.) and due to the passage of hot water through these devices, the heat of water is transferred to the room air by different mechanisms (radiation, natural or forced displacement) and the hot water temperature drops. It comes and goes back to the boiler to absorb the heat again.
The use of a circulator pump on the return route is prohibited and must be on the return route. Otherwise the circuit will air. Also, the installation system is located at a lower height than the heat spreaders, and in the term, the water in the installation system is mounted on the engine room.
Types of heating systems with hot water
The construction of central heating systems with hot water is divided into three categories based on the maximum water temperature:
Low temperature (LTW): The maximum water temperature in this system is 100 degrees Celsius. The maximum operating pressure of these systems is 2 bar, and in general, these systems are used to heat the space in houses, residential buildings, offices and 3 cases They are used and their design is simple.
Average temperature (MTW): The water temperature range in this system is between 175-120 ° C. These systems are also called hot water systems. The maximum operating pressure of these systems is 3 / 10bar. These systems are commonly used in large-scale hot water distribution systems such as regional hot water distribution.
High temperature (HTW): The water temperature range in this system is between 177-130 ° C. The maximum operating pressure in these systems is about 21 bar and the system pressure must be carefully controlled. Do not reduce the saturation pressure, otherwise the hot water will turn into steam and damage the boiler and other equipment. These systems are most commonly used in large buildings, hotel hubs, hospitals and industry such as the food industry.
Components of central heating system with hot water:
Central heating systems with hot water are composed of the following components:
Hot water generators
This part is responsible for producing hot water, which includes various types of burners and hot water boilers. The heat from the combustion of fuel by the burner is transferred to the water inside the boiler and causes the passing water inside the boiler to heat up.

Hot water transmission system
This system is responsible for transferring the hot water produced by the hot water generating devices to the heat dissipating devices. Which includes the piping system between the distributor and heat generator and the circulator pump. Water circulation may also occur naturally based on the difference in return water temperature. A pump system is commonly used today to increase water velocity and reduce pipe diameters. Through the hot water transfer system, water with a constant volume is continuously circulating between the heat generating and distributing devices.
Heat dissipators
These devices act as heat exchangers and by these devices, heat is taken from hot water and given to the room space. These devices include heater units, radiators, fan coils, convectors and..
